Thanks for the practical advice. So far we have gotten lucky on this front, but as the kids age, I am sure it is only a matter of time. Appreciate the perspectice!

I am glad that you haven't encountered problems--and I do think the majority of teachers and parents are people of good faith, so hopefully no problems will arise!

Oops hit 'send' too soon. Since humans are humans, it's probably inevitable that some frustrations will arise at some point--but they don't necessarily have to become a big deal. Especially with a little strategery.

But what do you do, if you go to a teacher and tell them about a horrible thing and then they do nothing!

That is REALLY difficult., and I'm so sorry that you have had it. I've been there myself. In the next couple of posts I am going to talk about some things I have learned over the years that I think can help lead to a better outcome, and what you do when you don't get the hoped-for result. I hope that will help give some useful suggestions. But I understand that sometimes you don't get the results that you had hoped for and that can be very discouraging and even worse.
